Make a list

Although it is a challenging task to itemize every little thing, try to make a list of every room, and the packing that needs to be done.  That way you don't feel overwhelmed, and you can check off rooms as you go along.  Packing is a gargantuan task, and it helps to break it down room by room so it doesn't feel quite as daunting.  You can do this!  If you need help from the Easy Company Professionals don't hesitate to draw on our experience.



Have plenty of supplies

Most retailers will let you return unused boxes, so we recommend buying more boxes and tape than you think you need.  You can return any supplies that you don't use.

Box up TVs, monitors, and fragile electronics

I can't stress this enough - it is critical to box your TVs and monitors. Not only does this save a lot of time, but it also protects some of your most valuable and fragile items.

Utilize wardrobe boxes

If you'd like your dry cleaned clothes to stay wrinkle free, wardrobe boxes are an excellent investment to save yourself a trip to the dry cleaners. We provide these on move day at no extra cost to you, which can save a good amount of money on your move.

Make sure EVERYTHING that can go in a box, goes into a box!

We can't emphasize this enough.  We are efficiency experts, so take our word for it, having EVERYTHING boxed up is key.  Understandably some items are too large, but anything that can get into a box, please do -  it will save you time and money!  Having too many small, loose items can add a lot of extra time onto a move.

Label where boxes and furniture go!

Please label the top and side of boxes, and also where furniture goes.  This lets us move efficiently and get your job done with speed, so you can get to unpacking sooner.

Reserve parking

If your move is taking place where parking is at a premium, arrangements should be made. The closer the truck is to your front door, the faster the move will go.
